Senator Edward Kennedy Diagnosed With Brain Tumor

Senator Edward "Ted" Kennedy has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. It was discovered after he suffered a seizure Saturday and was rushed the Massachusetts General Hospital after being treated at the Cape Cod Hospital emergency room. Despite having a tumor in his left parietal lobe, Teddy, 76, "has had no further seizures, remains in good overall condition, and is up and walking around the hospital," Dr. Lee Schwamm and Dr. Larry Ronan said in a statement to the press. They said his treatment will likely include "combinations of various forms of radiation and chemotherapy. Senator Kennedy will remain at Massachusetts General Hospital for the next couple of days according to routine protocol.”
