Garth Brooks' Ex Having More Troubles

Country music superstar Garth Brooks' comeback has been marred by another family controversy - his ex-wife's former fiance has been murdered. Brooks is planning to storm the charts again after announcing his retirement in 2001, but first he has to deal with the shock death of his former wife Sandy's ex-lover. Michael Dubin was shot and killed in his home in Oklahoma on August 15 and Sandy, who dated him after splitting from Brooks in 2001, attended the dead man's funeral.

Police initially thought Dubin had shot himself but investigators have now named a former Tulsa sheriff as a person of interest in what has become a murder case. Police have discovered Carl Akins was part of a plot to kidnap Dubin's girlfriend Debra Akins - the ex-sheriff's former wife. This is the second time in two years Sandy's love life has embarrassed Brooks - another ex, Cornelius Harper, abducted the singer's former wife at gunpoint after she dumped him and kicked him out of her home in 2005. He later threatened to release explicit videos allegedly featuring Sandy naked.

Okay I know this is a sad story, but it is also like something off a prime time soap opera! Somebody call the writers of the failing DALLAS movie this could be a great story. I mean come on how the hell do people get in messes like this?

Desperate Housewives Ad

Here is the new ad promoting the new season of Desperate Housewives on ABC. Now, I never watched the show even when it was cool (the first season) so I can't comment on if this season will suck like the last couple have like I have heard. I can say that Teri Hatcher got some major photoshop work done on this ad. That woman is sickly skinny and always looks half dead to me. Hell, it might be a great make up job. I can say Marcia Cross looks the hottest in the pic.

Britney And Kevin Drama Part 1

Documents from Monday's Federline v Spears hearing were released today after both parties agreed on what elements to remove from public record. At the August 27 hearing, lawyers for Britney Spears asked a judge for a continuance on the former couple's custody case in order to give both parties more time to "conduct and complete their discovery." Kevin Federline is seeking primary custody of sons Sean Preston, 23 months, and Jayden James, 11 months.

In her letter to the court, Britney's attorney Laura Wasser says that Kevin Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, had scheduled depositions with the subpoenaed witnesses despite being aware that she would be unable to attend. Additionally, Wasser submitted a letter written to Kaplan on August 15 asking for the offices to cooperate in "the service of third-party subpoenas," explaining that it would eliminate "the need for either office to chase potential witnesses, which would only cause more unnecessary fees and unwanted media attention to this matter." The letter was written after lawyers for Federline had served Alli Sims, Daimon Shippen and Shannon Funk.

In Kaplan's opposition to Wasser's request for a continuance, he claims he had already offered a continuance, under certain restrictions, which was rejected by Spears' team. Kaplan also states that Britney did not attend a scheduled deposition on August 20 because her lawyer was on vacation. Despite requesting that the meeting be rescheduled, Kaplan alleges that he never heard back. He goes on to accuse Wasser of "stonewalling" the discovery with her difficult schedule. The documents reveal that in addition to the witnesses already served, Federline's team plans to subpoena Christine Hallet, Spears' former nanny, and Dr. Betty Wyman, her "designated sober companion." Finally, Kaplan requests that Britney cover Kevin's legal expenses, citing her average monthly income of $737,868 dollars, and the imminent end of Kevin's $20,000 dollars a month in spousal support, on November 15, 2007. According to the documents, Kevin "has no net income after business expenses." A decision on the request for continuance will be made when both parties are next in court, on September 4.

Princess Diana Remembered At Memorial

A tear ran down the cheek of Prince William as his younger brother, Harry, spoke of their late mother, Diana, during Friday's noontime service to the late princess at the Guards Chapel near Buckingham Palace in London. "To us, just two loving children, she was the best mother in the world," Harry said, praising her "unfaltering love" and adding that, behind the media glare, to her sons she was someone "who laughed hysterically and uncontrollably when sharing something silly ... Encouraged us when we were nervous." He urged the family and friends, and those around the world who follow Diana's life, to look to the future and remember her for being "fun-loving, generous, down-to-earth and entirely genuine." He added, "Put simply, she made us and so many other people happy."

The solemn gathering marked the 10th anniversary of Diana's death and had been organized by her two sons with Prince Charles. Included on the guest list were Queen Elizabeth, Charles and Diana's friends, singer Elton John, photographer Mario Testino and film director Lord Richard Attenborough. In all, there were 110 members of the royal family in attendance, in addition to 130 people attached to charities in which Diana had been involved. Outside the chapel, her admirers gathered. Others, carrying and leaving floral bouquets, poems and photos, congregated outside the gates of Diana's former home, Kensington Palace, which has been a tradition every year on the anniversary of her death. A prayer written for the memorial service by Rowan Williams, the archbishop of Canterbury, gave thanks "for all the memories of her that we treasure still."

"Her vulnerability and her willingness to reach out to the excluded and forgotten touched us all; her generosity gave hope and joy to many. May she rest in peace where sorrow and pain are banished," Williams wrote, the Associated Press reports. Besides readings by William and Harry, who were only 15 and 12 when their mother died, the service also featured a remembrance from Diana's sister, Lady Sarah McCorquodale. "It should be a good occasion and lots of loud hymns. It should be a very sort of simple and nice service," Prince Harry said in a recent interview as the service approached. In Paris, where the "People's Princess," as Diana had been nicknamed, died in a high-speed car crash alongside her lover, Dodi al-Fayed, several mourners gathered and left bouquets at the tunnel where the fatal incident occurred, Reuters reports. A note, scrawled on a portrait of Diana in a jeweled crown, read: "10 years already, Oh how I miss you." It was signed "Monique de Luxembourg."

Jessica Jealous Of Cameron/John Relationship?

A source close to the Jessica Simpson told Us the singer is “really jealous” that ex John Mayer is seeing Cameron Diaz. “She had her mouth open a mile wide when she found out,” says the source. “She just freaked.” Jessica parted ways with John in May after dating him on and off for seven months, and “she thinks about him all the time,” says the source. “She is so not over him.” Meanwhile, Jessica seems to be a distant memory for John, who has continued his summer romance with Cameron in NYC. Though they spent August 22 and 23 apart (he hit the gym and recorded at a studio; she shopped and then lunched at Mary’s Fish Camp), they finally squeezed in quality time in the wee hours of August 24 at hot spot Socialista. The pair — who left at 4 a.m. through different exits — “were very cozy,” says a witness. Echoes a source close to the new couple, “They’re happy.”

Britney Songs And Album Info Revealed

Britney Spears's long-awaited comeback single, "Gimme More," has finally arrived, and Jive records tells PEOPLE exclusively that the album is scheduled for a Nov. 13 release. The club-friendly dance track officially premiered Thursday night on New York radio station Z-100's Web site. The song's official debut came just minutes after versions of it were leaked to at least two other Web sites, Perezhilton and TMZ. "The track that leaked is off of Britney Spears's forthcoming album. The song is "Gimme More," produced by Danja, [and is] written by Nathaniel "Danjahands" Hills, James Washington, Keri Hilson, Marcella Araica," a Jive Records spokesperson told PEOPLE.

The song features the pop star's signature breathy vocals, melodic electronic bleeps over a driving beat and a catchy hook that's is true to the song's title. Spears opens the sexy and sassy tune by defiantly saying, "It's Britney, b---", and producer Hills ends it in a shout out, saying, "Bet you didn't see this coming."

Over the last several months, Spear's personal struggles, including a stint in rehab and the ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, have all overshadowed her career. Still, in May, she performed several live shows in Los Angeles and Florida – during which she performer her old material. Since then, the singer has been seen taking dance classes and shooting a music video. Up next for Spears: She is scheduled to host the opening of LAX nightclub in Las Vegas on Friday. It's not clear yet on if she plans to perform at the event.

Remembering Princess Diana

We remember Princess Diana and her life with words and images on the 10th Anniversary of her passing.

Diana Frances Spencer was born into the British aristocracy on July 1, 1961. The youngest daughter of Edward John Spencer, Viscount Althorp, later John Spencer, 8th Earl Spencer, and his first wife, Frances Spencer, Viscountess Althorp. She was born at Park House, Sandringham in Norfolk, England. On the death of her paternal grandfather, Albert Spencer, 7th Earl Spencer in 1975, Diana's father became the 8th Earl Spencer, at which time she became Lady Diana Spencer and moved from her childhood home at Park House to her family's sixteenth-century ancestral home of Althorp.

Diana would so change her title from Lady Diana to Princess Diana when she feel in love with her prince. Prince Charles, Prince of Wales (full name: Charles Philip Arthur George) and Diana became engaged on February 24, 1981[4] and they married at St Paul's Cathedral on July 29, 1981, watched by a global audience of almost one billion. The happiness was short lived and the marriage had problems from the beginning. They did have two sons during their union. Prince William of Wales (full name: William Arthur Philip Louis) was born June 2,1982 at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, West London, England. His little brother followed a couple years later. Prince Henry of Wales ( full name: Henry Charles Albert David) was born September 15, 1984) at the same hospital as William. Henry never went by his given name always being called Harry.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were separated on 9 December 1992 and were finally divored on August 28, 1996. The marriage ending after affair of Charles and lover Camilla Parker Bowles and Diana’s affair with James Hewitt became public. Diana opened up about her troubled marriage and her own personal problems in an interview in 1995 with Martin Bashir for the BBC programme Panorama. After the divorce, Diana retained her apartment in Kensington Palace, completely redecorated, and it remained her home until her death. She publicly dated the respected heart surgeon Hasnat Khan and Dodi Al-Fayed.

Most of her time was spent being a mother to her sons, William and Harry or doing her charity work. Her two biggest causes were the AIDS epidemic that had come to the fore front of the American landscape in 1980’s and landmines that had killed some many people in multiple nations. Much of her work in the last year of her life was trying to stop landmines being constructed and others being removed. But, all her work and her short life would come to an end in Paris, France on August 31, 1997. Diana died after a high speed car accident in the Pont d'Alma road tunnel in Paris along with Dodi Al-Fayed and the Security Manager of the Hôtel Ritz Paris, Henri Paul, who was instructed to drive the hired Mercedes-Benz through Paris secretly eluding the paparazzi. Dodi Fayed’s bodyguard Trevor Rees-Jones was the only one in the accident to survive. The cause of the accident has been blamed on alcohol and high speed, photographers, conspiracy theories have even put the blood on the hands of the Queen of England. Whatever the cause two young boys have lived the last 10 years without their mother by their sides.

Diana has left a legacy of love, beauty, kindness and hope. She has also us her two greatest gifts- her sons. Now on this day we remember the amazing woman that changed the world the day she feel in love with a prince. Please enjoy the attached photos and leave your memories of Diana in the comment section if you would like.

Bridget And Tom Not So Happy At Birth

The arrival of a beautiful baby boy has not eased the bad blood between exes Bridget Moynahan and Tom Brady. The New England Patriots QB flew to Los Angeles by private jet last week for the birth of his son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan. "Tom was only allowed to see the baby for a short time," says a West Coast spy. "Bridget would not see him herself." Bridget’s publicist said in a statement: "Bridget is very thankful for a happy baby, excited about being a mother, and very pleased that the father, Tom Brady, was able to be there for the birth."

But a New York Daily News source says: "He was only allowed to come after the baby was born. The woman would not see him, period. And she gave the baby her last name." The model/actress and Tom split last year after three years of dating. News of the pregnancy emerged just after Tom began a relationship with Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen. "[Tom] is waiting to find out when he can see the little guy again," says the snitch. "Bridget is not giving him any slack on this at all." Yesterday, her spokesman said Tom and Bridget were "together" at the hospital, but couldn't say if he was in the room during the birth. "Bridget and Tom are on speaking terms and have the best interests of the child at heart," he said.

Nick Hogan UPDATE 3

TMZ has revealed that Florida police have interviewed the driver of a silver Dodge Viper that may have contributed to Nick Hogan's horrific late night crash earlier this week, that left Nick's friend seriously injured. Sources told TMZ that several witnesses can place the Viper near the crash scene moments before and after the collision, but it may not be the only vehicle involved. A rep for Clearwater Police Dept. told TMZ, "We suspect there may be other witnesses and we encourage them to come forward." Nick's father, Hulk Hogan, happens to own a silver Viper, but cops made it very clear that the wrestler is not a suspect. As for Nick's passenger, TMZ has learned that 22-year-old John Graziano is still in "very serious condition." Sources inside the hospital tell us, "John's condition hasn't changed since he arrived."

Owen Wilson UPDATE 3

Friends and family of Owen Wilson have been rallying around the actor after he attempted to commit suicide on August 26 by slicing his wrist and ingesting pills. They have also been trying to determine where it all went wrong. "Owen started hanging out around the wrong people again," says a source. At least two sources blame British actor Steve Coogan. The party boy rehab veteran was Owen's costar in Night at the Museum and Around the World in 80 Days. "I went through it with Steve," rocker Courtney Love, who dated Coogan until an acrimonious split in 2006, told Us. "I was just out of rehab, and he was right there with the drugs. I tried to warn Owen. I tried to warn his friends ... I hope from the bottom of my heart that Owen stays the hell away from that guy."

Indeed, former girlfriend Kate Hudson "forbid him from letting Coogan into his house. She knew he was bad," said another source. (Reps for Coogan did not respond to requests for comment.) "The drugs and partying were a huge factor in the breakup," said a pal of Kate, who has a 3-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson. “As much as she liked him, she didn’t want to be around that" -especially given the fact that Robinson is a recovering drug addict.

Owen's loved ones worried so much about his dependence on hard drugs, Us learned, that friend Woody Harrelson staged an informal intervention at his Hawaii home in May. But Owen continued to withdraw and succumb to depression following his June split from Kate, who is now dating Punk'd star Dax Shepard - which might have pushed Owen over the edge. "Seeing her happy with someone else made him happy that she'd found that," says one longtime Wilson family friend, "but made him hate himself so much more that he could never do it.”"

Stars Out And About

Amy Winehouse sheds her inhibitions – and her clothes – during a Caribbean getaway with husband Blake Fielder-Civil on Monday. I have to say the girl needs to eat something and cover up her tattoos. They don’t look as good on her as they do Angelina Jolie.

Mandy Moore continues her concert tour with a bluesy performance at the spring collection debut of her Mblem clothing line at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Monday. I think this picture is cool for some reason.

Soaking up the nightlife in Sin City: Paris Hilton, who attended her own sportswear and denim line launch at Social House in Treasure Island on Monday. I really don’t care for the new do on her, but I like the dress.

Britney Spears To Release New Single

Her fans said "Gimme More," and Britney Spears is responding with the debut of her fifth studio album – and accompanying single – as early as next week, Entertainment Weekly reports on its Web site. calls the new single, "Gimme More," an "up-tempo" dance track that "music insiders love." The album remains unnamed. Known of late for her erratic behavior and bitter custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, Britney's return to her song and dance routine could be great for her battered image. "She's got a whole new sound," the site reports. "She's funky." The report goes on to say: "The only question is, with all the drama, are people going to want something fun or something more serious? This is a dance single." The track was produced by Timbaland protégé Nate "Danjahandz" Hills, reports, though representatives for Britney's label, Jive, did not respond to calls from the site seeking comment.

Owen Wilson UPDATE 2

Owen Wilson has placed his acting career on hold as he recovers from his suicide attempt. Wilson has dropped out of Tropic Thunder, a movie comedy for DreamWorks he was set to begin shooting in two to three weeks with longtime pal Ben Stiller, Variety reports. Wilson’s role was due to take a week, according to the trade paper. Stiller – who is producing, directing and starring in the film – started shooting in Hawaii six weeks ago. The decision for Wilson to sit out the project was apparently mutual between him and Stiller, and it is unclear whether Wilson will be replaced or if his role will be dropped from the script, says Variety.

Tropic Thunder involves a group of actors on the location set of a war movie who find themselves caught up in a real-life conflict. The comedy also stars Jack Black, Robert Downey, Jr. and Nick Nolte. Wilson and Stiller have starred together in eight movies: The Cable Guy (1996), Permanent Midnight (1998), Meet the Parents (2000), Zoolander (2001), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Starsky & Hutch (2004), Meet the Fockers (2004) and Night at the Museum (2006). Wilson is currently in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after being taken there Sunday. In his only statement since then, the leading man has asked to be given the privacy to “heal.”

Nick Hogan UPDATE 2

Nick Hogan is speaking out for the first time since his car crash Sunday in Florida, asking people to "focus your prayers" on his 22-year-old passenger, John Graziano, who remains hospitalized. In a post on his MySpace page, the son of Hulk Hogan said: "I want to thank everyone who has sent their support to me. Right now I would like to ask all of you to focus your prayers on my friend John." His sister Brooke Hogan echoed the sentiments on her own MySpace page, adding: "You have all been so wonderful to reach out to me and my family during this time. As you may know, Nick has been released from the hospital, but our good friend John remains hospitalized. Please send your love and prayers to John and his family."

Nick (real name: Nick Bollea) was released from St. Petersburg's Bayfront Medical Center after Sunday's crash, in which the VH1 reality star's Toyota Supra careened off the road, striking a 25-ft.-tall palm tree. No charges have been filed, but police say the case remains under investigation, and Hogan was traveling at an "excessive speed" at the time of the crash. Graziano, a Marine just back from Iraq, was listed in critical condition. His grandmother Catherine told the Tampa Tribune the prognosis didn't look good. "To come home from Iraq and for this to happen," she said.
