Two Stars Break From Reps

Tired of the controversy surrounding her upcoming album My December, Kelly Clarkson has canned her manager. A source confirms to Us Weekly that Clarkson has fired Jeff Kwatinetz, of the management company The Firm. "It is true. It just happened. It is a total shock but she wasn't happy," says the source. Clarkson hasn't yet decided on a new manager. Another source adds, "They majorly disagreed over the album and the direction and Kelly had enough."

Paris Hilton has been dropped by her talent agent, PEOPLE confirmed. "Paris is no longer a client," says Endeavor agency rep Michael Donkis, who declined to specify a reason for the move. According to a source, Paris was dropped last Friday – the day she was ordered back to jail from home confinement. The move was announced in a company-wide email, the source says. The Beverly Hills-based agency has represented Paris since 2005, handling her deal for The Simple Life. Paris spent her fourth night in the medical ward of the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles. She is serving out a 23-day minimum sentence for violating probation in an alcohol-related driving case.
