Don Imus Dropped From MSNBC

Don Imus radio show has been dropped from MSNBC permanently after an announcement Wednesday. "Effective immediately, MSNBC will no longer simulcast the Imus in the Morning radio program. This decision comes as a result of an ongoing review process, which initially included the announcement of a suspension. It also takes into account many conversations with our own employees." After insulting The Rutgers womenn's basketball team Imus was suspended for two weeks starting April 16. And Imus apologized saying that the remark was a joke that, "went way to far." Still the back lashed continued. The show reached 2.5 million per week on the radio and was simulcast on MSNBC reaching 361,000 viewers for the first three months of this year.

Ya gotta love the NBC brass, they pulled the show because sponsors were running. That's okay but their lack of honesty is troubling.
