Meet The Newest Member Of The Jolie-Pitt Clan


Angelina Jolie is now the mother of 3-year-old, Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt. The first name means Peace in Latin and his middle name means Sky in Vietnamese. The boy who came from the Tam Binh Orphanage was original named Pham Quang Sang. The boy's new name as chosen by Angelina and partner, Brad Pitt. Brad did not make the trip because of commitments to his current movie project.
Angelina and 5-year-old son, Maddox arrived at the orphanage to pick up the boy and according to People.com the boy was very upset. "They tried to make friends with the Vietnamese boy, who cried when he saw them because for him, they were strangers. Jolie was very moved. Both of them tried to comfort the boy." Angelina has completed all of the requirements for Vietnam, but now must be granted approval by the U.S. consular and embassy officials.
Angelina and Brad's first three children were all born out of the United States. Son, Maddox Chivan, 5 was born in Cambodia in 2001 and adopted by Angelina the following year. Daughter, Zahara Marley, 2 was born in Ethiopia and adopted around six months of age by Angelina. Their only biological child, Shiloh Nouvel, 10 months was born in Namibia last May. Their newest child, Pax was born in November 2003.
